As seen in the picture above, I spent last live drawing lesson using cubic shapes to aid in my sketches. The cubes helped get me an idea of the characters space, setting and helped me pinpoint the most suitable places to set them in the drawing. It was quite a useful thing to learn to do in that lesson and it actually made my sketches develop a lot easier. Here are all my two minute sketches that were done for an opening exercise for the class.
Once the series of two minute pictures were done we did the usual and moved on to practice longer timed and more detailed drawings.
