On the 3rd of February 2022, the class met up at the Natural History Museum. We each set out in groups as we wondered around the museum, drawing the stuffed animals seen behind the display glass cabinets. I personally really enjoyed this trip and it certainly took me out of my comfort zone when it came to drawing. I am somebody who always draws people and I find it very difficult and maybe even overwhelming to draw animals. However being in the Natural History Museum gave me no choice but to tryout drawing animals, and after a while of doing it I found it quite fascinating and enjoyable. I even took an extra step and decided to draw some of the giant whale bone structure that was displayed in the entrance hall of the building. Bellow are some videos and sketches I took in the museum. I hope you all enjoy it.
