For this lesson, we were taught how to exaggerate the physique and features of our model. The usual took place with the 1 minute quick sketches, but as we further dived into the lesson our drawings progressed as we leaned into creating more cartoon-like characters with the model. I really enjoyed this lesson and so far it is my favorite, as I was getting very bored of sticking to drawing people realistically. I was exited to show off my art style and get more comfortable as I did not have to be so uptight and try to make everything look real.
I was also very happy about the model we had. I particularly liked her hair and her charming fringe and found it very fun to draw in a more animated style. I remember while drawing her as a character I had the Disney princess Briar Rose in mind, since I was getting princess vibes from the model that day. I proceeded to sketch the emphasized version of the model, making her fringe noticeably larger, giving her a bigger head and in some sketches making the surface of her head flatter. Down bellow are the sketches I did that day.

Later on we were encouraged to add color into our sketches, and I colored in the creases and folds of the models pink dress. (I didn't have a pink colored pencil so I used orange, that explains the wrong color of the dress).

Lastly before the lesson ended we pulled off drawing one last pose for five minutes. This time I managed to borrow a pink highlighter from a classmate. So in the end I managed to draw a pink dress, which I was happy about.

That is all for today ladies and gentlemen. As usual I will say that I'll see you in my next upload. Thank you for your support, I really appreciate it. Give the post a heart if you enjoyed it and last but not least, go and click something else.
