2nd Term: LIVE DRAWING WITH CHARCOAL

For this lesson we tried something a little different and did our usual sketches; however this time we used black charcoal. At first I found this a little challenging but later on I got the hang of it and started to make use of the smudges made by the charcoal to form shadows and depth in the image. I personally found this lesson quite fun as it took me out of my comfort zone and allowed me to expand my skills with more loose drawing equipment. Bellow are my charcoal sketches done in the lesson.
